LOBSTR Signer extension: How do I initiate and sign transactions?

LOBSTR signer extension is a browser extension designed to allow LOBSTR users to securely connect to other services built on the Stellar network using their wallets. The extension sends all transactions from a connected web service to your LOBSTR mobile app for signature. Once you receive a push notification with a transaction request on your LOBSTR app, you can review the full transaction details and decide whether to confirm or reject the transaction.

LOBSTR signer extension transmits transactions between the LOBSTR app and third-party services using an encrypted connection. Your private key is stored fully encrypted on your mobile device and is never exposed to the connected service, ensuring maximum security.

Here are the few steps needed to sign outgoing transactions (e.g. from StellarTerm):

1. After a connection to the Signer extension is established, choose 'LOBSTR wallet' to log in to StellarTerm.

2. Approve the connection request.

3. Make any transaction via StellarTerm interface (e.g. swap).

4. Open your LOBSTR app and confirm the signature request from the extension. Done!

Please note that every transaction made in your wallet via the LOBSTR signer extension will require the confirmation from the LOBSTR app.
