I can’t log in or sign transactions using my Ledger device

StellarTerm provides our users with the ability to access their accounts on a Ledger device. 


To log in with Ledger you will need to connect your Ledger device and open the Stellar app. Ensure browser support is set to yes. 


If Ledger still does not show up, restart it and refresh the webpage.



Ledger setup instructions


 1. Get a Ledger device and connect it to your computer.


2. Set up your Ledger device by following instructions on the Ledger website.


3. Install the Ledger Live app on your computer.


4. Inside the Ledger Live app, go to Applications and install the Stellar app.


 5. On your Ledger device, navigate to the Stellar app and open the app.


6. Inside the app, go to Settings -> Browser support -> select "Yes" and press both buttons.



Note:


  • Ledger Nano S and Nano X support is available on Chrome and Opera.
  • Choose the BIP32 path of the account you want to use: 44'/148'/n' where "n" is the account index. Or use the default account 44'/148'/0'.



You may need an update if issues with the login or signing transactions occur.
