Do I need a memo to receive funds on StellarTerm?

In order to correctly credit the deposit into the balance of the destination wallet, some services may require customers to specify a memo when submitting a transaction. 


Memo is not required when sending funds to StellarTerm since we provide unique addresses for all users. 


To receive funds, you will either need your federation address (e.g. 'username*stellarterm.com') or your public Stellar address (a 56-character public key starting with 'G') that can be found on the 'Account' page.


Some exchanges do not support federation addresses. In this case, you should specify your Stellar address when sending funds to StellarTerm.


 


If the service that you are using to send the funds asks you to indicate a memo, you can safely enter ‘StellarTerm’ there.
