What is StellarTerm?

StellarTerm is an advanced and agile open-source trading client built on top of the Stellar Network.

StellarTerm offers the following standout features:

— Open source and local key storage

StellarTerm is an open-source software hosted on Github. 

The secret key of your Stellar account is stored in an encrypted form on the device (inside a browser) and never leaves it. 

In both the web and desktop versions, your secret key is never sent to any server. Your secret key is deleted from the secure storage once you log out from the account, refresh or exit the page. 

— Fast access using the secret key

StellarTerm features a fast and simple sign-in process. You only need to paste your secret key into the field to sign in, no email or password required. Accept assets, place orders, and send funds — everything is just a few clicks away. 

— Send funds on the Stellar network

One of the best features of the Stellar Network is lightning-fast speed. 

With StellarTerm, you can send XLM or other Stellar assets within seconds. Specify the amount of an asset, the required memo type, and send funds anywhere in the world using memorable email-like addresses. 

— Advanced trading features and charts

StellarTerm provides a wide range of trading features:

- Trading in real-time with direct access to SDEX: live stats, prices, and order book. Seamlessly switch markets, manage, and edit live offers.
